NOTE: This motor is carried on MANY Service trucks as it can replace so many motor sizes with just a quick capacitor change. This Trip Saver Motor can be used for furnace blower motor replacement. There is a package of screws included to be able to mount in some Rheem-Ruud furnaces using screws into the motor body. The motor can also be mounted by it's studs or by a belly band mount around the motor body, so it can be used in any brand of furnace that has a 48 Frame, 1,075 R.P.M. 115 volt motor and uses either belly band or stud mounting. Different horsepower ratings from 1/6, 1/5, 1/4 , 1/3 and 1/2 can be achieved by using different size capacitors and wiring which is all spelled out on the motor label. See the closeup of the motor above. The capacitors needed are also found above. Please order the capacitor you need to get the desired horsepower rating.
Use a 5.0 MFD x 370 volt capacitor or a 7.5 MFD x 370 volt capacitor for all horsepowers EXCEPT 1/2 which requires a 10 MFD x 370 volt capacitor.Note: using a 7.5 MFD x 370 volt capacitor on all horsepowers except the 1/2 HP will result in a stronger motor.
